Bisley Returns to Clerkenwell Design Week 2022 May 9, 2022| Veranstaltungen After 2 years away, we are returning to Clerkenwell Design Week 2022 with a special showcase alongside our latest collections of furniture and storage solutions. We’ll be showcasing a range of products that we’ve launched during the pandemic for the very first time during the week, including Primary Lockers, LockerWall, Quarters, Kubbi, Living by Bisley, and our extensive Belong range. Sustainability is at the forefront of our ethos, processes, and culture and you’ll continue to see this theme throughout our showroom during the week. We’ve invited Oxford-based social enterprise, RAW Workshop to reimagine our design classics, the MultiDrawer and large filing cabinets – which will be revealed and exhibited, highlighting our sustainability commitments and company-wide initiatives. RAW Workshop produces high-quality wooden furniture while offering reclaimed timber and other services including wood recycling and grounds maintenance. Set up to drive a positive impact on people and our planet, the charity employs and upskills individuals who have previously experienced mental health, addiction, homelessness, imprisonment, and other social issues. Bisley CEO, Richard Costin, comments: “We’re delighted to return to Clerkenwell Design Week, welcoming our customers and industry peers to our showroom once again. The festival remains a key event in Bisley’s calendar, enabling us to connect with the A&D community and show them the breadth of our product portfolio – including some of our latest and most innovative designs. “Partnering with RAW Workshop is an inspiring new project for us – not only because this is the first time, we’re doing something of this kind, but also because it presents us with the opportunity to proudly introduce our sustainability programme - a vital part of our mission and business strategy for the next decade. “At Bisley, we truly believe in what RAW Workshop stands for and the difference it makes to our society and environment. With our shared values, we’re keen to support each other and embark on this journey together in the coming months.” Rick Mower, RAW Workshop’s Managing Director said; "When Bisley approached us, the idea of uniting a globally recognised brand like theirs with RAW's creativity and social value was pretty irresistible. Their brief was all about the future, looking at how products that are made-to-last can be harnessed sustainably and adapted for multi-purpose life spans. We love a challenge and I hope people, who see the results in our concept pieces at CDW, will enjoy them and see what's possible when you think beyond the norm".
