Confidence in our Return to Production May 14, 2020| Bisley Leute Bisley, like many businesses, has been affected due to COVID-19 and the Government’s announcement for all non-essential businesses to close or to work from home over the last seven weeks. As a manufacturer, the majority of our staff cannot work from home and we therefore took the immediate decision to close the factory and to ensure all our colleagues felt safe and were protected. We have been in constant communication throughout lockdown with all staff and when we felt it appropriate after seeking advice, we invited, not insisted that those who felt able to, returned to work. The feedback was very positive, and we are now delighted to confirm that over the last two weeks we have been phasing our staff back to work in both our wooden and steel factories. Bisley has created a safe system of work at its factory headquarters and other locations, including revised working practices and clear markings to ensure the necessary and appropriate social distancing guidelines are in place. We have PPE and cleaning materials in good supply. We therefore feel confident that production and other factory-based activities have resumed successfully and safely. Production is strong and working well, and our Customer Service functions are supporting our customers while working from home. We look forward to continuing to support our customers, as we start to steadily move out of what has been a challenging period for us all. Although at present our London Showroom remains closed, as and when appropriate, we will re-open but on an appointment only basis, whilst having clear social distancing processes in place. Should you need any information or assistance with any of our product offerings, please do contact us via your regular Bisley representative, or via our website.
