We are delighted to announce that we are proud sponsors of this year’s Sustainable Design Forum.
Taking place at the Crypt on the Green in Clerkenwell, London on Thursday, 25th April, this is a one-day interactive event designed specifically for workplace designers. Incorporating an innovative format of presentations, panel discussions, interactive workshops, a materials lab, and the SD awards ceremony, the event offers the opportunity for learning and collaboration between designers, manufacturers, suppliers, and not-for-profit organisations.
Curated by designers for designers, the event is hosted by the Sustainable Design Collective. Formed in 2022, the Collective is a ‘think tank’ group of over 30 leading designers and specifiers committed to working within the workplace design community to identify developments and ‘best practice’ relating to sustainability.
Discussions will include balancing environmental and sustainability considerations such as retrofit and reuse, inclusivity, unravelling carbon measurement, and identifying outcomes to establish strategies.
Kieran Keohane, Sustainability and Compliance Officer at Bisley said; “We’ve all been working hard to improve sustainability at Bisley, ensuring the company has the foundations in place for significant change. This has included simple things such as switching off lights and appropriately recycling, to changes in processes, and all the way through to how we actively provide support to communities and the environment.
“I am really looking forward to sharing these developments with others, highlighting both the achievements and challenges we’ve faced so far, and what we will continue to work towards on our sustainable journey.”
Harsha Kotak, workplace designer and co-founder of Sustainable Design Collective said; “We are delighted that Bisley will be joining us at the Sustainable Design Forum. We will be focussing on the opportunity for interaction and knowledge sharing. It’s important that the design community has an understanding of new developments and commitments to greater sustainability.”
