Brief
DWTC wanted to have a minimal footprint and liberate space for themselves. Their aim was to enhance how they used their workspaces and improve the environment for employees, at the same time as reducing their storage and office-running costs. They wanted a mobile shelving system that was going to work smoothly and, above all, quietly and effortlessly. Their goal was to have flexibility, where certain departments can have their own section of archiving which can be locked off for reasons of confidentiality, eg. Finance and HR. Colour was also a necessity in order to create an uplifting yet functional environment for their employees.

Project furniture specialist, HumanSpace, chose Bisley’s InnerSpace as the obvious choice in meeting the end-user’s needs. This high-density storage system, designed for the front office, released space where it was needed most. The colour schemes and ergonomic design were a deciding point in their buying decision. The fact that the radius end panels have softened edges and give a sleek finish, appealed to them, as did the fold away handles giving the front of the InnerSpace system clean lines. The belt-drive system of InnerSpace, which provides pretty much maintenance free usage, also appealed greatly.
