Buddy Shortlisted in the FX Design Awards! Sep 14, 2020| We are delighted to announce that Buddy, the latest personal storage solution from Bisley, has been shortlisted in the ‘Public, Leisure, or Office Furniture’ category in this year’s FX International Design Awards. Consisting of the very best distinguished experts from our contract design industry – including designers, architects, engineers and clients – the panel selected the very best interior projects and products from a huge number of submissions. Buddy by Bisley can be your right (or left!) hand man to help with all your office storage needs - for you and only you. Designed to stow personal belongings and frequently used office items, Buddy has a choice of internal configurations, so that items can be stowed securely and conveniently. Designed to accompany static or height adjustable desking, Buddy is desk-attached as opposed to free standing. This means that it moves vertically with a height adjustable desk, ensuring that the user can quickly and easily access their belongings – whether sitting or standing. Rachel Shepherd, Product Manager for Buddy commented: “When we launched Buddy at the start of the year, we knew it was an innovative product, but we never imagined how relevant it would become in the post-COVID workplace. Buddy is the perfect solution for keeping all your personal possessions isolated and secure, and so it’s great to see that it has been nominated for a second award. With over 10,000 units sold already this year, I’m really pleased with Buddy’s success so far, and it’s great to be recognised by FX.” Unfortunately, in light of COVID restrictions, it comes as no surprise that the annual ceremony at the Grosvenor Hotel in London has been cancelled this year. Instead, we will be joining FX for an online presentation on Wednesday 25th November, when the winners will be announced. You can pre-register to watch the broadcast here. Don’t forget! This is the second nomination for Buddy, having already been shortlisted for a Mixology award back in July.
